Sr. Program Manager, Project Delivery

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager with banking or wealth management experience, combining technical know-how with domain-specific knowledge. This role requires leading complex projects, formulating strategies, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet client needs. Bridging the gap between clients and our consulting firm, the Principal Consultant is instrumental in driving the project from initiation to completion.

Strategic Leadership, Program Execution & Project Management:

• Spearhead and strategically plan Norima or client-managed projects, leading cross-functional business and technology teams.

• Direct key client initiatives, including technical integrations for both homegrown and 3rdparty wealth management platforms.

• Leverage Agile Software Development methodologies to ensure adaptability and efficiency, from inception to completion in a constraint-laden environment.

• Oversee and successfully implement complex platform builds within stringent deadlines and conditions.


Client Relationship, Business Development & Vendor Management:

• Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients, devising technology and finance solutions that echo their requirements.

• Drive business volume through proactive sales, ensuring accurate budget forecasting.

• Draft comprehensive proposals, analytical reports, detailed business and technology strategic plans as needed.

• Engage in vendor negotiations, driving discovery, requirements analysis, and top-tier design activities for projects.


Delivery, Problem Solving & Quality Assurance:

• Guide consultant teams towards achieving project delivery milestones, tackling intricate issues and ensuring effective solutions.

• Refine existing systems and procedures.

• Assist in developing prototypes, proof of concepts, and structured implementation plans aligned with client specifications.

• Maintain and reinforce practice standards, ensuring a high quality of deliverables from all consultants.


Professional Development & Cross-Functional Communication:

• Remain updated by continuous learning and development in key areas of Banking & Wealth Management and relevant technologies.

• Promote cross-functional dialogue and collaboration, ensuring synergy across teams.

• Champion the Norima brand by publishing white papers, networking, and securing speaking opportunities.


Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience with 8+ years of consulting or industry tenure; with 8+ years of hands-on experience.

• Certifications such as PMI for Project Managers and CBAP for Business Analysts are pivotal, as well as Certifications in Agile methodologies, or hands on experience.

• Technical: Command over chosen discipline, technology, or industry, with a focus on Agile Software Development.

• Strategic Planning: Mastery in program execution, devising product roadmaps, and creating implementation strategies.

• Non-Technical: Outstanding presentation skills, problem-solving capability, and interpersonal aptitude.

• Management & Delivery: Track record in handling projects, budgetary considerations, vendor negotiations, and resolving complex issues.

• Business Development & Sales: Cultivate and leverage relationships for noteworthy business prospects, and an understanding of technology and finance dynamics.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience in Wealth Management business operations and technology (in a Broker Dealer or related enterprise environment).

• Extensive experience in Banking business operations and technology (in a Bank, Lender or related enterprise environment).

• Experience managing large cross functional teams (15-20 developers, SME’s Business leads, etc.)

• Change Management experience.

• Expertise in data integration technologies such as ETL, API, and data warehousing a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to thrive in a fast moving, Agile environment.
